hey yall, 2 large bundles from australia arrived today, expertly packed, and containing much flamey tassie blackwood flavoured goodness, i just finished resawing the billets, and ended up with 8.5 awesome sets and headcap/binding/rosette material, really excellent stuff, i will take some photos later, just needed to get away from my saw, i was going in resaw psychosis, just to be a PITA i also resawed a billet of ultra zoot quilted sapele, and ended up with 4 very nice sets, pics to follow.......... i know..... i am a circular muscle controlling the output of the bodies waste, but i just love wood ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

this is really for my own building, i do sell sets occasionally, but to be honest it is hard enough getting hold of good stuff let alone having to constantly find it for other people, paddy |

here come the pics sapele first then the black acacia the zootcave!! tops and archtops mostly electric stuff, and a whole load of macassar in the front waiting to be turned into 4pc backs and sides one messy shop!! and this is the inlay i posted a couple of weeks ago in its final resting place, i was quite happy with it! |

hey arnt i sticker fresh stuff, and then any stuff i want to build with i sticker for a few months, but i really dont have space for stickering it all, the room is kept at a constant 42-45% RH paddy |

Wow...that's some of the nicest Black Acacia I've seen. Great color and flame. Great score, and I'm sure it's a great advertisment for Australian Tonewoods! Paddy, you really won't be able to build that many guitars in your lifetime you know...... |
