hey yall,

2 large bundles from australia arrived today, expertly packed, and containing much flamey tassie blackwood flavoured goodness, i just finished resawing the billets, and ended up with 8.5 awesome sets and headcap/binding/rosette material, really excellent stuff, i will take some photos later, just needed to get away from my saw, i was going in resaw psychosis,

just to be a PITA i also resawed a billet of ultra zoot quilted sapele, and ended up with 4 very nice sets, pics to follow.......... i know..... i am a circular muscle controlling the output of the bodies waste, but i just love wood

Hi Paddy

Are you planning to sell tonewood ? Or is this for your own building ?

this is really for my own building,

i do sell sets occasionally, but to be honest it is hard enough getting hold of good stuff let alone having to constantly find it for other people,

Paddy, no more for you. You are cut off sir. I think there needs to be an intervention.

No seriously, that is an amazing stash of wood. You could make some termites very happy!

Author:  PaddyD [ Thu Apr 06, 2006 8:34 am ]
Post subject:

hey arnt

i sticker fresh stuff, and then any stuff i want to build with i sticker for a few months, but i really dont have space for stickering it all, the room is kept at a constant 42-45% RH

Wow...that's some of the nicest Black Acacia I've seen. Great color and flame. Great score, and I'm sure it's a great advertisment for Australian Tonewoods!
Paddy, you really won't be able to build that many guitars in your lifetime you know......

Paddy, your zootcave looks like a pic from Allied or LMI's catalog. (shaking head and muttering...it's just not fair, it's just not fair)

I have to remind you guys that the biggest cash robbery in UK history, $93m, took place just down the road from Paddy, and most of the money has still not been recovered! Now I'm not saying there's any connection.

No termites perhaps, but you obviously have some pretty efficient burglars.

Say, what was your address again, Paddy?
